Lisa Humes

Lisa came to insurance the way many of her clients come to her. After a layoff cost her both her job and her benefits, she spent a stretch searching for health coverage alone, and concluded that her background in healthcare equipped her to guide other people through the same search.

That combination — healthcare on one side, insurance on the other — is what lets her build a plan around an unusual situation rather than fitting a family to a standard one. She represents HealthMarkets Insurance Agency across the metro area and places coverage with nationally recognized carriers.

She has lived and worked in Northern Virginia for more than thirty years. She holds a Certificate in Human Resources Management from the University of Virginia and a BS in Radiological Health and Administration from The George Washington University.
