Ryan is the founder and managing partner of Arlington Law Group, a boutique firm in Arlington County concentrating on estate planning, trust and estate administration, business law, and tax planning. He started the firm in 2007.

He studied at Johns Hopkins University, earning a BS in Computer Science and a BA in Spanish in 2000 and an MSE in Computer Science in 2002, then took his Juris Doctorate magna cum laude at the George Mason University School of Law in 2006.

He gives estate planning and tax seminars regularly and has taught numerous Continuing Legal Education courses for attorneys on trusts, estates, taxes, and legal ethics. His board service includes the Arlington Chamber of Commerce, the Arlington Corps of The Salvation Army, and the Arlington County Bar Association.
